Within the framework of this course, students will learn about the basic principles of e-business, with special emphasis on business in the maritime industry. It is expected that students know and that can explain the modern systems for fast and safe transfer of documents in maritime industry (EDI, CRM, ELM, ERP etc.), telecommunication in the dangerous situations, urgency and safety at sea (MMS), as well as systems for navigation safety (radar, GPS, S-AIS, ECDIS, VTS/VTMIS etc.).
