Biography




Mirjana Nedović Vuković was born on April 10, 1980 in Bijelo Polje, where she finished elementary school as a student of the generation and high school as Luča A. After high school, she entered the Faculty of Medicine and obtained the title of Doctor of Medicine in 2007. She completed her specialization in medical statistics and informatics at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade in 2014, and in 2016, initial research as part of her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica on the topic "Advantages of joinpont regression analysis compared to simple linear regression on the example of mortality trend analysis from of lung cancer in Montenegro for the period 1990-2009".

She started her work engagement in 2008 at the Podgorica Health Center as a trainee physician, and since 2010 she has been employed at the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro, where she currently holds the position of director of the Center for Data Recording and Research in the Field of Public Health, and since 2018. she was also engaged as an expert associate at the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica, Department of the College of Medicine, on the subject Research Methodology in Health and Mortuary Care for undergraduate studies and Fundamentals of Research Methodology in Health Care with Informatics for Masters studies.

As a representative of the Institute for Public Health, she participated in numerous conferences, national and international workshops, as well as national and international dialogues, working groups, educational seminars and courses, and participated in numerous educations in the field of medical statistics and informatics and public health.

She continuously deals with the methodology of scientific research, and as a specialist in medical statistics and informatics, she conducted statistical analyzes of numerous studies (specialist, masters, doctoral, scientific) from various fields of medicine, and she was also a collaborator on several national scientific research projects. Participation in the international project "Development and implementation of metacognitive problem-based modules in blended learning courses in medical sciences" (ProBLeMS) stands out as a significant experience. Her research interests are mainly related to medical sciences, medical statistics and informatics, and public health.

She has published several authored and co-authored works indexed in SCI and SCIE lists.

Married, mother of Andjela, Nadja and Anja.
