Within Erasmus+ project Fostering of Internalization at the universities in Montenegro through Efficient Strategic Planning (IESP), valuable equipment was provided

In order to improve quality of teaching in English at the University of Montenegro from academic year 2021/2022 and within implementation of Erasmus+ project Fostering of Internalization at the universities in Montenegro through Efficient Strategic Planning (IESP), equipment was provided in amount of total 95.000 euros.

The equipment (smart whiteboards, computers, headphones) is installed in one classroom at the Faculty of Philology in Nikšić and in a classroom of the Center of Information System in the Rectorate. The University of Montenegro invested additional funds in improvement of this premises, as a way of co-funding, that the premises would be in the representative level.

Within recently established the Department for language support to internationalization with the Center for International Cooperation, regarding improvement of capacities of teaching staff for teaching in English and in this classroom there will be organized English courses for teaching staff of all organizational units that will be teaching in English for foreign students that use mobility program at the University of Montenegro in accordance with epidemiological conditions. English courses will be organized also for administrative staff at the Rectorate which will provide support to the process of Internalization. This courses are currently online organized. Equipped classrooms will also be used for Montenegrin courses for foreign students and staff that are in mobility program of the University of Montenegro.

Valuable equipment is also installed for organizing two interdisciplinary summer schools in English, starting in July 2021, at the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor and at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality.

Implementation of the IESP Project began in November 2019 and the goal of the project is to improve international competitiveness of the University of Montenegro, through providing the best model of capacity building for different aspects of the internalization. The equipment provided from the funds of the projects will provide sustainability of this activity at the University of Montenegro.
