Info day related to 4th call for submission of thematic project proposals under the Interreg Euro-MED programme

Related to the publication of the Call for submission of thematic project proposals under the Interreg Euro-MED 2021-2027 programme, the Ministry of European Affairs of Montenegro is organizing an info day, which will be held on 18th of March from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. at the hotel CUE in Podgorica (The Capital Plaza, address Cetinjska 7).

The deadline for submission of applications is 12th of June at 1:00 p.m.

This Call identifies 4 so-called programme missions and specific goals within them:

  • Mission 1 – innovative sustainable economy
    • Specific Objective 1.1: Consolidating a competitive innovation ecosystem
    • Specific Objective 2.6: Supporting circular economy
  • Mission 2 – Protection and valorization of natural environment and heritage
    • Specific Objective 2.4: Promoting climate change adaptation and risks prevention
    • Specific Objective 2.7: Enhancing nature and biodiversity
  • Mission 3 – Promoting green living areas
    • Specific Objective 2.4: Promoting climate change adaptation and risks prevention
  • Mission 4 – Sustainable tourism
    • Specific Objective 2.4: Promoting climate change adaptation and risks prevention
    • Specific Objective 2.6: Supporting circular economy
    • Specific Objective 2.7: Enhancing nature and biodiversity

One mission must be chosen in project application.

For each mission a separate Terms of Reference (ToR) is prepared, with description of conditions, criteria, rules, goals, tasks, etc:

  • ToR for mission 1: link

  • ToR for mission 4: link

It is possible to apply with two types of projects: test projects and transfer projects.

A total of 20 projects will be financed, 5 per mission. The total fund is 44 million EUR. Test projects are financed up to a value of 2.5 million, and transfer projects up to a value of 1.5 million EUR.

A public institution from Montenegro can be the leading/coordinating institution in the project. The project must involve at least 5 institutions/organizations, from 5 different countries.
