Biography

 

Msc Marija Ćaćić, spec.arh.

Marija Ćaćić was born in 1991 in Pljevlja, where she finished elementary and high school. She gradueted in 2014 at the Faculty of Architecture in Podgorica, and she has obtained master degree  in architecture at the Faculty of Technical Sciences (Department of Architecture and Urbanism) in Novi Sad. During her master studies, she attended one semester at the Faculty of Architecture in Bialystok, in Poland. She enrolled PhD studies in 2017 at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad.

She has been awarded the University of Montenegro Award for best student at the Faculty of Architecture in 2011/12; awards of the Faculty of Architecture in 2012; the recognition for student work at the 21st Urban Planners Exibition; as well as several student scholarships (Engineers Chamber of Montenegro, Ministry of Education of Montenegro, Erasmus +). She has published and exhibited her works in several national and international exhibitions of architecture and urbanism and she has participated in several international competitions.

She started her professional practice in 2015 in design bureau "Green house" in Podgorica, where she worked as associate designer. She is member of the NGO Arch Commune - Center for architecture and culture.
