Biography - Đurović Radovan

Radovan Djurovic was born on January 7th 1979 in Niksic, Montenegro where he finished primary and high school. Being an excellent student he was awarded with the Diploma “Luca”. Afterwards he entered the Department of Geodesy of the Civil Engineering Faculty in Belgrade in 1996, and graduated from the same in 2004.

During the school year of 2005/2006 he enrolled post graduate studies at the Civil Engineering Faculty in Belgrade. He defended his master thesis on “Advancement of Maintaining the State Survey of Real Estate” on 02.06.2011. and acquired the academic title of Master of Science.

Radovan defended his PhD thesis on “New Concept of the State Survey and Real Estate Cadastre” on 28.09.2016 at the Civil Engineering Faculty in Belgrade and acquired the title of PhD.

From 2005 he has been working in the Directorate of Real Estate of Montenegro (now Real Estate Administration), and at the same time has been employed as the part-time teaching assistant at the Geodesy Department in Podgorica.

His employment at the Civil Engineering Faculty began in November 2011 where he has held the position of the teaching assistant of several geodesy related subjects.

Additionally, he has been involved with many economic organizations and associated working in his field and working in economy field by being part of many projects, technical revisions and surveillances over several different construction buildings.

Moreover, he is the President of the Association of Geodesy Engineers and Graduates “Geoprogres” and a member of the Chamber of Engineers, Montenegro. Also, he is a member of Mensa Montenegro.

He speaks English.

Radovan is married to JelenaTuruntasDjurovic and they have two sons – Viktor and Aleksa.
