Biography - Banjac Lidija+

BIOGRAPHY

Lidija Banjac graduated from the Faculty of Medicine University of Kosova (Pristina, FR Yugoslavija) in 1983. with qualification in Medicine and then she obtained specialty in pediatrics in 1991 and subspecialty in neonatology in 2004 (Faculty of Medicine University of Belgrade, Serbia). She has worked at Institute for children diseases (Podgorica, Montenegro, since 2000) in the department of neonatology. She got a master’s degree in Medical Sciences (Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro, Podgorica, Montenegro 2007) with emphasis on conection beetwen intracranial hemorrhage and retinopathy of prematurity and she also got a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro, Podgorica, Montenegro 2012) with scientific research in premature patients with bronchopulmonary dysplasia and retinopathy of prematurity. She has been an Assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro, (Podgorica, Montenegro, since 2014), teaching in the areas of Pediatrics, mainly Neonatology.
