Biography - Drašković Mimo

He was born on 04^th March 1981 in Nikšić where he finished elementary school and high school, gymnasium. He graduated from Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor – Management Department in 2003 with an average mark 9.40. He finished master studies at the Faculty of Economy in Subotica in 2008 defending the thesis on “Integrated marketing logistics in management system of Port of Bar”. He earned his PhD at the same faculty in 2011 by defending the PhD thesis “Modern developing tendencies of marketing logistics of ship ports”.

In 2003 he got employed as a teaching assistant at Maritime Faculty Kotor and he was involved in teaching and economic group of subjects. In  2011 he was promoted to Assistant Professor on the subjects: “Organization of maritime enterprises” , “Management in shipping”  and “Customs and customs business” . Since 2011 he has been a head of management department at the Faculty of Maritime Studies Kotor.  

His scope of scientific work are management, economy, logistics.  He is an author and co-author of over 100 scientific and professional papers in national and international journals, books of proceedings and other publications. He has presented his papers at many scientific conferences.

He is an editor of international scientific journal “Media dialogues” and a member of a Review Board of several international journals in Montenegro and abroad.  He won  “Luča” by Town of Nikšić for excellent success during studies and bonus reward of the University of Montenegro.  He is the member of Center of young scientists of Montenegrin Academy of Science and Arts. He is married and has three children.
