Ph.D. Gordana Rovčanin Premović was born in 1987 in Bijelo Polje. She finished elementary and high school in Podgorica. Studies at the Faculty of Architecture in Podgorica she finished in the academic 2010, defending the thesis Architectural - urban design of Žabljak Airport. Masters degree she received at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Montenegro, in 2015/2016 academic year, with the theme Post-war architectural scene of Podgorica in the context of creating the identity of the city. She enrolls the doctoral studies at the Faculty of Architecture, University in Zagreb in 2016, in the field of architecture and urbanism. She finished her Ph.D. studies in 2021 with the topic Models of Tourist Facilities and Impact on Natural and Cultural Heritage on the Example of Budva, Bar and Ulcinj Riviera (1945-1991) - Criteria for Evaluation and Improvement, under the mentorship of Prof.dr.sc. Zlatko Karač, with a commission: Doc.dr.sc. Ana Mrđa (president), Prof.dr.sc. Krunoslav Šmit (member) and Doc.dr.sc. Jasenka Kranjčević (member).

She was elected to the position of Assistant Professor in 2022. She has been a member of the Center for Young Scientists and Artists of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts since 2023.

She received a scholarship from the Engineers Chamber of Montenegro, a scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Science of Montenegro in 2009/2010 academic year and a scholarship from the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Croatia Republic for a visit study to the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb, in 2010. During regular studies, she participated in domestic and international conferences, exhibitions, and many important urban - architectural competitions. The greatest success she achieved in the competition for the conceptual urban - architectural solution of the central zone of Žabljak city in 2011, where she won the first prize as a coauthor in the team. She participated in the study of national importance Heritage Impact Assessment for the Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor - Heritage Impact Assessment - HIA Boka Kotorska in 2017. She worked in professional architectural practice from 2010 to 2016, and since 2016 she has been employed at the Faculty of Architecture.
