Biography - Todorović Katarina

She was born on 1st March 1972 in Cetinje. She completed primary and secondary school (education/pedagogic department) in Podgorica. She graduated at the University of Philosophy (pedagogic department) where she defended her master thesis "School in the framework of the learning society". She started to gain her working experience in 1996 as pedagogue in the Elementary school "Vlado Milić" in Podgorica. After 4 years, she started working at the University of Philosophy where she became professor at the Junior College. After she became PhD of pedagogical science in 2008 at the University of Philosophy in Novi Sad defending her thesis "Communication characteristics of teacher/educator and quality of educational work", she became docent at the University of Montenegro. She has been elected at the position of the associate professor in 2014 for the following subjects: Pedagogical communication at the Department for Pedagogy, Didactics I – Introduction into Didactics and Didactics II – Teaching organization at the Department for Teacher Education and Didactics with educational technology at the Department for Pre-school education at the University of Philosophy in Nikšić. Besides mentioned subjects, she is also responsible for the Family and School pedagogy at the Department for Teacher Education and School pedagogy at the Department for pedagogy as well as at the post-graduate studies at the Department for Teachers, subject: Didactic-innovation theory and at the Department for pre-school education, for the subject: Interaction and communicology.

In addition to her own scientific and teaching training in the country and abroad, she is engaged with professional training of the teaching staff through implementation of numerous programmes that contribute to effective functioning of educational system of Montenegro.
