Born:  September 16th 1977, Podgorica, Montenegro.

December 2019:  (Full) Professor, University of Montenegro Faculty of Law. Current courses/fields: Company and securities law; EU Internal Market Law,  Corporate governance, Maritime Law.

December 2020: Member of the University of Montenegro Senate. Representative of the Faculty of Law.

October 2023: (Chairperson) Jean Monnet Chair in EU Internal Market Law, University of Montenegro Faculty of Law.

December 2014 - December 2019: Associate Professor/Department of Company&Business Law, University of Montenegro Faculty of Law. 

December 2012 – August 2018:  Member of the (Government of Montenegro) Negotiation Group/main negotiating team of Montenegro in the EU accession negotiations process - in charge of coordinating negotiations and corresponding working groups of Montenegrin Government for chapters: 3. Right of establishment and freedom to provide services; 6. Company law; 7. Intellectual property law;

December 2012 – Member of the working groups for accession negotiations between Montenegro and EU. Chapters: 3. Right of establishment and freedom to provide services;  6. Company law.

2023 (ongoing) Jean Monnet Chair in EU law of the internal market (Chair/Director) - under the auspices of University of Montenegro Faculty of Law and with the support of of European Commission (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency); 

2022 (ongoing): Editor in chief of University of Montenegro Law Journal; 

2020 (ongoing): Academic coordinator/Module leader - Jean Monnet Module in EU law of the internal market  - under the auspices of University of Montenegro Faculty of Law and with the support of of European Commission (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency); 

2018 (ongoing): Lecturer at Montenegrin Center for the Training of Judges and State Prosecutors (Topic: "Towards new Montenegrin company law"). 

2014 - : Expert witness for Montenegrin law in several investment arbitration proceedings (under ICSID, LCIA and UNCITRAL Rules of arbitration);

2020 - 2021: National legal expert - assistance to Government of Montenegro Working group for drafting Intellectual Property Strategy of Montenegro (under the auspices of WIPO - World Intellectual Property Organization). 

2019: National legal expert  - assessment of Montenegrin regulatory framework for investments (corporate, business and international law) executed under Multi-Annual Action Plan on Regional Economic Area/Regional Investment Reform Agenda (RIRA) for the WB 6 countries (IFC - World Bank Group).

2018: International expert for EU company law and EU accession negotiations - Training/preparing Government of Albania Working group for the start of accession negotiations in chapter 6 – Company law.

2016 - 2018: National expert for EU and national company law – Expert support to Montenegrin Government in drafting and aligning new Montenegrin Law on Business organizations with EU company law provided to Government of Montenegro - Ministry of economy

2016 - : Assisting to for Govrnment of Montenegro in:

  1. Developing/drafting document - Action plan for introducing comprehensive and functional system of electronic registration of companies in Montenegro with regard to incorporating Montenegrin business register into EU Business Registers Interconnection System;
  2. Developing/drafting Feasibility Study on Social Impact Bonds (SIB) in Montenegro; 
  3. Developing document/study on possible methods of improving existing Montengrin structure for Accession negotiations with the EU (including the improvement of national academic community involvement). 

2010  –  Arbiter  (listed on the List of potential arbitrator for Arbitration Court with the Montenegrin Chamber of Commerce);

2015 – 2018: Member of the Steering committee and of the Editorial Board - SEE Cluster of Excellence in European and International Law (international academic network);

2013 - 2016: Member of the Government of Montenegro Commission for awarding and negotiating concession contracts for exploration and production of hydrocarbons in Montenegrin continental shelf;

2013 - 2016: Member of the Advisory Board of South East European Law School Network - SEELS;

2013 -  Member of the Editorial Board of South East European Law Journal;

2012 – 2017: Member of the Montenegrin Academy of Science and Arts Association of Young Scientists;
