Biography - Brajović Miloš

Miloš Brajović was born on May 24, 1988, in Podgorica, Montenegro. After completing his primary education at "In Njegoš" School in Spuž, he enrolled at "Petar I Petrović Njegoš" High School in Danilovgrad in 2003. He received "Luča" diploma for his excellent results in both primary and secondary school. He was awarded the "Tomo Dragović" fund award for being the best student of his generation in high school.

In September 2007, Miloš Brajović enrolled in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Montenegro, majoring in Electronics, Telecommunications, and Computer Engineering. Following his B.Sc. studies, he continued with a Spec. Sci. study program in Computer Engineering, earning his specialist degree in June 2011 by defending his thesis "Time-frequency analysis and current frequency representation." He then enrolled in the M.Sc. program in Computer Engineering and defended his thesis titled "Recursive calculation of time-frequency representations" in October 2013 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. In June 2019, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation titled "Analysis of algorithms for the reconstruction of sparse signals in the Hermitian and Fourier transform domains," also at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica.

Miloš Brajović coauthored the scientific monograph Data Analytics on Graphs, published by the international publisher Now Publishers. He has also published 84 scientific papers, including over 20 in prestigious international scientific journals indexed in the SCI/SCIE bibliographic databases. Miloš serves as a reviewer in over 20 prominent international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Signal Processing Letters, Signal Processing, Digital Signal Processing, IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, and others. He has also served as a reviewer for international and domestic conferences.

Miloš Brajović was awarded the Ministry of Science of Montenegros award for the most successful scientist under 30 years of age in 2018. He also received the Plaque from the University of Montenegro in 2018 for his contributions to the number of published papers in renowned journals from the SCI/SCE list in the field of technical sciences. In 2020, he was honored with an award from the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (CANU) for outstanding achievements in science, which is awarded to young scientists up to 35 years of age. Miloš was also awarded recognition for his achieved results and contributions to the development of scientific research by the University of Montenegro in December 2021. He was the recipient of the Danubius Young Scientist Award from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science, and Research (BMBFW) and the Institute for Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM) in 2022.

Miloš Brajović began his teaching career as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 2011. He has been involved in teaching activities for over 24 courses from the study programs of the University of Montenegro since then. After earning his Ph.D. degree, he began lecturing several courses at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Maritime Faculty of Kotor, and at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering during the academic years 2019/20, 2020/21, and 2021/22.

Dr. Brajović was appointed an Assistant Professor in May 2022.

He has been involved in 12 scientific research projects since 2012. During his doctoral studies, he had a short study stay at the Polytechnic Institute in Grenoble (INP Grenoble), France, in January 2017, and participated in several workshops organized in various countries. Miloš Brajović is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the IEEE Signal Processing Society. He is also a member of the Center of Young Scientists and Artists at the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts.
