Biography - Radusinović Igor

Igor Radusinovic was born on 29.07.1972 in Cetinje. He completed the elementary and high school in Podgorica with great success and was awarded LUCA diplomas for elementary and secondary education.

After graduating high school in 1990, he entered the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica. He graduated in 1994 as the best student of the generation with average grade 9.54 out of 10.

He was awarded many times during his education,. The most important award was the Plaque of the University of Montenegro which is awarded to the best student of the generation at the University.

He finished his master studies in the field of telecommunication networks at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, defending his master's thesis in 1997 and achieving an average grade at the postgraduate studies of 10. He defended his doctoral dissertation titled "ANALYSIS OF ATM SWITCH PERFORMANCE WITH QUEUE LOCATION AND MANAGEMENT " at the same institution in 2003.

Since 1994 he worked as Teaching Assistant at the Department of Telecommunications, Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica, on the subjects Telecommunication networks and Switching systems. From 2003 until 2008 he held the position of Assistant Professor for subjects Telecommunication networks, Switching systems and Computer networks at the same Faculty. Since 2008, he was Associate Professor for the subjects of Telecommunication networks, Switching systems and Computer networks at Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica. From 2013, he has been Full Professor for the subjects of Telecommunication networks, Switching systems and Computer networks at University of Montenegro.

From December 1994th until today, he actively participated in the educational process as teaching assistant, assistant professor, associate professor and full professor. Until now he has been a mentor in the preparation of one PhD, six master and over 60 specialist theses.

During his former professional engagements at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica he had the duties of the Head of Department of Communications and Head of Computer Center and the Head of the study program of Electronics, Telecommunications and Computers. He was member od Management Board of University Montenegro. He is a member of Senat Of University Montenegro.

In the former scientific work he published over a one hundred and fifty papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, at international and national conferences. Also, he is a reviewer of the eminent international journal IEEE Communications Letters.

His research and innovation areas of interest are packet switching, routing, Software Defined Networking, Internet of Things and Wireless Sensor Networks.

He is a member of professional associations of IEEE, IEICE, the Engineering Chamber of Montenegro and the Society of Telecommunications. He is also a member of the Scientific Committee of TELFOR and Program Committeeof INFOFEST.

Igor Radusinovic has managed or participated in thirteen national and five international projects.

Since 2015th he is performing the function of a Director of the first Montenegrian Centre of Excellence BIO-ICT..

He speaks English. He is married and has three sons.
