Biography - Ljubojević Milovan

NAME: Milovan Ljubojević

He was born 13.02.1981 in Pljevlja. He finished primary school and Gymnasium in Danilovgrad. He graduated at The Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic - Department of Physical Education in 2005 as as valedictorian. At the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Belgrade, he finished Master studies and 2011 he defended the thesis entitled "The effects of the subject - Sport for athletes (basketball) on the morphological characteristics and motor abilities of pupils in the eighth grade of primary school." At the same university in 2014. He defended his doctoral thesis entitled "The educational effects of elective sports in physical education."

He was successful karate and soccer player and he was a team player for football club Iskra Danilovgrad in Montenegro league.

Immediately after graduation he started his carier as a teacher in high school "Petar I Petrović Njegoš", Danilovgrad.

That same year he was hired as strength and conditioning coach of the senior Basketball team Danilovgrad (Premier League).

After one season, he become a fitness trainer in a Woman’s Basketball Club Buducnost Podgorica, which won the championship and Cup of Montenegro, and successfully participated in the Adriatic league and European competition - FIBA cup.

After three successful seasons he moved to  Podgorica, where he took care of the physical preparation and proper development of young talented players from Montenegro.

He was a member of the coaching staff at Basketball club Buducnost with whom he won two national titles and two Montenegrin Cup, successfully participated in the ABA league and Euro Cup.

He was a member of the coaching staff for young Montenegrin women national team that won the gold medal in 2007 at the European Basketball Championships in Lithuania.

He was a part of the coaching staff ( as a conditional coach)  for Montenegrin Junior national team which won bronze medal at European Basketball Championship in Israel in 2010.

He was a member of the coaching staff for Montenegrin Senior basketball national team which won prestigious tournament  ’ Four nations’ in China.

Along with the practical work, he was involved in scientific research, and teaching. As a result, numerous scientific articles as author or co-author he published in the country and abroad, as well as master's theses and doctoral dissertations which were successfully defended. Also, he participated in many scientific conferences and meetings in the country and the region. In pedagogical terms, he accomplished  himself while working in high school "Petar I Petrović Njegoš", Danilovgrad, and then as an assisstant  at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Nikšić, University of Montenegro.

As a teaching assistant at the university he is involved in the following subjects: History of Physical Culture, Dances, Theoretical basis of Physical Education, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Swimming and Waterpolo 2 ,Theoretical basis of physical and health education, Basketball - tactics, Tactics and strategy of chosen sport - basketball.

He is currently employed at the University of Montenegro, at the Faculty for Sport and Physical Education in Niksic.

 

INFORMATION CONSIDERING EMPLOYMENT AND TITLES

 

He was employed as a teacher - Intern of physical education in high school "Petar I Petrović Njegoš", Danilovgrad from 2005 to 2006.

In the same school he has been employed in the period from 2012 to 2015, as a teacher of physical education.

He was engaged in clubs: Woman’s Basketball Club Future (2006-2008), Basketball club Podgorica (2008-2011), Basketball club Buducnost Voli (2013-2015).

In October 2015 he got a status of teaching assistant on group of courses at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Nikšić, University of Montenegro, where he is currently employed.
