Biography - Knežević Miloš

Miloš Knežević was born November 25, 1965 in Niksic. He finished high school - Mathematics Department in Niksic. For the success achieved was awarded the diploma "Luca". 

After graduating from high school (with an interruption for military service) he enrolled at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica. Faculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica he completed in 1992. He received Master Degree from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad in 2001. with the theme: "Foundations for creating a database for managing the design and construction of highways." He received his PhD in 2005 at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade, on the topic of "Risk Management in the realization of construction projects", under the mentorship of Prof. Živojin Prascevic. 

He held the position associate dean of finance from 2005 to 2010 and dean of the faculty from 2010 to 2016. He was President of the Professional Chamber of Civil Engineers of Montenegro from 2009 -2012. And board member of the Chamber of Engineers of Montenegro and the Project Steering Committee Consulting Ltd. in the same period. The chairman of the board of the Institute of authorized appraisers of Montenegro and President of the Technical Committee Institute for Standardization.

 From 1992 he worked in a number of construction companies in Montenegro, the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan, and since 1998 he has been working at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Montenegro in Podgorica. Lecture in the field of project management in construction, construction and maintenance of civil engineering, real estate appraisals. 

He participated in building a number of facilities in the function of the immediate supervisor of the object, technical director and head of construction works: the manager of the road Niksic-Cetinje, in 1993, the head of the construction of the high school "Stojan Cerovic" Niksic, 1994, Head of the construction of the facility RTV Niksic, 1995, Head of building a large brewery Trebjesa in Niksic, 1995., head of the construction of the Embassy of the Republic of Bashkiria in Moscow, 1995/96., head of the preparations for the construction of a large number of representative buildings in Tashkent, 1996/1997. approximate value of US $ 106 million (over 195,000 m2 of representative and residential buildings: Intourist hotel in Tashkent, the residence of the President of the Republic Durmenj, Administrative Building of the President of the Republic, the building of summer residences Kajnersaj, Olympic Museum, the Museum of Amir Temur, the Central Bank and others.). 

The study visit in Vienna (Universität Wien (TU Vienna), Wien, Österreich) 2003. He has lectured for up to a month to UASG Sofia, Sofia, Bulgaria (2005.2014), Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Slovakia (2006 , 2009 and 2016) and Vysoké učení technické (VUT v Brně), Brno, Czech Republic (2008,2010,2013,2015 and 2017). He stayed at the Universidad de Granada, Granada, España 2016 after CEEPUS + program. 

 He was the lead designer on the Development of the project of reconstruction of the main road Bar-Petrovac-Budva at the site for which it was granted CEMEX Building Award in 2008. 

He was a consultant to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Environmental Protection for the Development Strategy of construction planning by 2020 (2009-2010). 

He was elected as a full professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica 2016 

The head of the study program Construction Management Faculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica since 2006.

So far he has written and published 12 papers in journals on SCI list, more than 90 scientific papers, which were published in national journals and conference papers at domestic and international scientific and professional meetings. Participated in the development of more than 30 expertise, 45 contract documents, 30 projects and 40 project tasks. He was a member of the Commission for more than 30 technical control of documents and more than 15 technical inspection of facilities.
