Biography - Raičević Saša

Prof. dr Saša Raičević was born in 1964. in Ivangrad (now Berane).He graduated in 1992. at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, and completed specialization in gynecology and obstetrics in 2000. at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade. He was a professional associate from the 2006/2007 school year, and from the 2009/2010 school year.until the 2015/2016 school year.

He associated in teaching at the Gynecology and Obstetrics course at the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica.

He received the professional title Primarius in 2007.

He received his doctorate on June 11, 2009. at the Faculty of Medicine in Kragujevac.

He was elected to the position of assistant professor at the University of Montenegro on September 29, 2011.

He was elected to the position of associate professor in the field of gynecology and obstetrics at the Faculty of Medicine on June 2, 2017.

He became a full professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro by the decision of the Senate of the University of Montenegro on November 23, 2022.

He has mentored students in the preparation of diploma theses (so far 30 in the study program Medicine and 19 in the study program Applied Physiotherapy). He is the mentor of four doctoral students at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montenegro and one doctoral student at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Kragujevac. He is also a mentor at specialist studies in gynecology and obstetrics (so far 16 gynecology and obstetrics residents, 35 residents - other specializations, part from gynecology and obstetrics).

He was Visiting professor at the First Moscow State Medical University I.M. Sečenov, Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education was in the period from March 1, 2017. until March 1, 2018.

He was the President of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Section of the Association of Doctors of Montenegro from 2004-2010. He is a member of the presidency and assembly of the Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Serbia, Montenegro and the Republic of Srpska since 2008. till today.

He has published around 140 professional and scientific works published in domestic and foreign magazines and presented at numerous professional meetings and congresses in the country and abroad, one professional monograph and has one published Scientific Patent.

He works at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the Clinical Center of Montenegro in Podgorica.

In the period from April 2014, he held the position of Head of the Department of Operative Gynecology at the GAK KCCG. until August 2018.

He was a member of the Commission for passing the professional examination of healthcare workers with a high level of education, Ministry of Health of Montenegro from 08.05.2017. years.

He was a member of the Commission for awarding the title of Primarius to doctors of medicine, doctors of dentistry and pharmacists of the Ministry of Health of Montenegro No: 6-103/21-393/3. from 27.01.2021.  on November 28, 2018, Mr. and in the second term from 06.12.2021.

He was the president of the National Council for Education by decision of the Government of Montenegro no. 04-3766, dated June 17, 2022. (Official Gazette of Montenegro, No. 66/2022 of June 24, 2022)

He was a member of the Ethics Committee of the University of Montenegro by decision of the Senate of the University of Montenegro dated 28.10.2022.

He was a member of the board of directors of the Clinical Center of Montenegro (employee representative) by decision of the Government of Montenegro No. 08-100/24-1160/3, dated March 7, 2024. (Official Gazette of Montenegro, No. 22/2024 of March 15, 2024)
