Biography - Tomović Sreten

BIOGRAPHY

  I was born on 09. 09. 1957. in Bar, where I finished the primary school. I attended the secondary civil-technical school in Titograd and after that finished the Faculty of Civil Engineering  at the hydrotechnical-structural department, University in Niš.

     I finished postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Niš, at the department: protection and exploitation of sources for water supply. The doctoral dissertation under the title ,,Contribution to the optimization of water systems in the conditions of extremely season unevenness in water consumption” was defended by me in  2004., at the Faculty of Civil Engineering University in Belgrade.

In my long practise I have worked in designing and constructing: main water and sewage   pipelines, hydrotechnical structures, water intake structures, reservoars, wells, pumping stations on water and sewage systems, regulation of water courses and small water-power plants. I was engaged as technical director of Public company Water Supply in Budva for maintenance and construction of hydrotechnical infrastructure. In the scope of international program of American Agency IRD I was engaged in the professional supervison for execution of works, financed by the agency.   

I attended in 2006. at London South Bank University in London,  in the area of planning and management in hydrotechnics, and per ad of University of Montenegro for improvement of staff base of the University.
