Erasmus+ project 1FUTURE: Study visits and project management meetings in Novi Sad

Within the framework of the ERASMUM+ project “jOiNEd For sUsTainability – building climate REsilient communities in WB and EU – 1FUTURE” project, the Faculty of Technical Sciences University of Novi Sad organised study visits and project management meetings from 4-6th December 2023.

As part of the study visit, Faculty of Technical Sciences members introduced activities and study programs the Faculty offers related to climate change, sustainability, and risk management.

Another part of the study visit was dedicated to inter-project coaching. There were presentations of five international projects to exchange experience.

At the end of the visit, there were project management meetings. During those meetings, participants showed achieved results: draft gaps between climate and sustainability action in the EU and the Balkans report which has to be prepared and adopted by Western Balkan Universities, participants on the project, first Draft of the Climate and Sustainability Plan, Concept of the Climate and Sustainability Journal, and 1FUTURE platform. Further plan was analyzed, and further activities were defined. The next meeting will be held online in February 2024.

The representatives of the faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Montenegro, were professors Miloš Knežević, Snežana Rutešić, and Željka Beljkaš.
