Pre-Departure Meeting for Outgoing Students

International Cooperation Center of the University of Montenegro organized the pre-departure meeting for the students who participate in the Erasmus + exchange program this year.

The meeting was a great opportunity to meet all students who partake in mobility and to share experience and information about mobility preparation process. The students had a chance to obtain information about the studying at the foreign universities, especially about procedures in the beginning. There were various themes: how to obtain a residence permit (for those who do not have a visa), creating and changing Learning agreements, monthly scholarship payment and other useful information before their departure.

Some former scholars attended the meeting and shared their positive and negative experiences about foreign countries and they advise them how to overcome all difficulties that they could face and cultural shock in the first month of exchange. “Every beginning is hard”- emphasized the former scholars. At the end only nice things will be remembered and they said that they would apply for this program again.
