The meeting with the vice-deans for international cooperation of university units was held in the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro.

Vice-Rector for Internationalization of UCG prof. Dr. Sanja Peković, together with the employees of the Office for International Cooperation and Mobility, informed the vice-deans about the results achieved in the field of internationalization. In the previous period, UCG conducted a series of activities aimed at increasing support for outgoing and incoming mobility.

The importance of joining UCG to the Ulysseus European Universities alliance for the process of internationalization and better positioning in the European area of higher education was highlighted. This year, the University of Montenegro became a full member of the Ulysseus network of European universities whose goal is to connect the most prestigious institutions of higher education in Europe in order to jointly overcome todays biggest challenges. The program of this project offers a wide range of training and exchange opportunities for students, professors, researchers and non-academic staff. Universities that are part of this Alliance, in addition to the University of Montenegro, are: University of Seville, University of Genoa, University of the Cote dAzur, Haga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, Technical University of Košice, and MCI Entrepreneurship School.

When it comes to the incoming and outgoing mobility of students and staff, the data shows that the previous academic year was a record for the number of mobilities achieved so far. The University of Montenegro invests in order to create the preconditions for increasing incoming mobility and strengthening the capacity of the teaching staff in order to introduce and improve teaching in foreign languages at the University of Montenegro.

With the establishement of ESN Podgorica, an organization that is responsible for organizing extracurricular activities for incoming students and has a very important role in integrating foreign students into the academic and wider environment, a step forward was made in supporting incoming mobility, but the process of internationalization at home was also improved.

In the coming period, a series of activities are planned that will put the importance of the dissemination of the achieved results and the evaluation of the realized mobilities in the foreground. In this connection, and taking into account the great interest of students and staff, the amendment of the Criteria for the selection of candidates in mobility programs is being prepared.

All participants of the meeting expressed the expectation that continuous and coordinated activities promoting the mobility program will contribute to greater internationalization and even better international recognition of the University.
