Vebinar on Topic of Good Practices of Citation and Literature Reference will be organized on 23rd June
The Quality Assurance Center of the University of Montenegro will, on June 23rd at 10 am, organize a webinar on "Good practices of citing and referencing literature in academic papers" that will be especially important for students of specialist and master studies. The webinar will be led by Miha Kovač, Professor of Publishing Studies and Head of the Department of Librarianship and Information Science at the University of Ljubljana.
In his presentation, Miha Kovač, PhD, will explain concept of plagiarism, difference between plagiarism in literature and science, and point out reasons why copyright prohibits plagiarism. In his presentation, he will present how rules of citation arise from the structure of scientific work and that the correct citation of data sources and the work of others is basis for obtaining correct results in all forms of research, not only in science but also in marketing, education and many other fields.
Along with concrete examples, they will point out good and poor practices in quoting.
