Students who Pass Test of Online Course about Academic Integrity will get the Certificate

Quality Assurance Centre of the University of Montenegro held yesterday a working meeting with the appointed representatives for academic integrity of the faculty units of the University of Montenegro, as well as representatives of the Student Parliament of the University of Montenegro.   

Director of the Quality Assurance Centre, Sanja Pekovic, PhD, said that in the forthcoming period a special focus of activities will be having number of students as high as possible for online training of the University of Montenegro about academic integrity and who will pass the test for which they will be awarded a special certificate.   

She invited representatives for academic integrity as well as representatives of the Student Parliament to motivate as many students as possible to attend online courses.  

Professor of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of the University of Montenegro and member of the Board for Quality System Management Dubravka Drakic held a presentation about online courses of the University of Montenegro starting from registration trough taking online tests to getting certificate.   

Tests are intended for students of all levels of studies, who in video materials may obtain useful information that may help in writing seminar, diploma, master and PhD papers with clear instructions for rules of academic writing and aim to meet students with basic postulates of academic integrity.  

It was pointed out on the meeting that academic integrity is a topic much wider than plagiarism and it includes many aspects and behaviors within academic integrity – teaching, nonteaching staff and students so to compose and build academic culture.
