• Understands the role and structure of the electricity market. • Understands and calculates the parameters of the grounding system and its elements. • Understand the role of generating units and methods of their optimal engagement • Knows the nature and methods for calculation of transient processes in power systems. • Calculates the effects of the integration of distributed sources of electricity on the operating modes of the power networks from the aspects of current and voltage, stability, power quality. • Applies methods of optimization of power and distribution systems. • Defines and analyzes advanced power networks and systems. • Through the development of master thesis develops the ability of individual work in a multidisciplinary environment.
