Open Call for Two PhD doctoral candidate at the University of Montenegro – Institute of Marine Biology
Within the prestigious doctoral programme of “Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions” (MCSA), funding the project “In quest of the human dimensions of MEDiterranean Marine Biodiversity” (MEDiverSEAty), two research positions for doctoral candidates at the University of Montenegro – Institute of Marine Biology (UCG–IBMK) have been made available for a period of 36 months on a full-time basis. The research programme focuses on addressing issues in the protection of marine biodiversity, specifically:
- Using artificial reef to preserve biodiversity: potential implications on Marine Literacy and Education; and
- Socio-economic impacts of sea-surface microplastic concentrations along the coastal shelf of Montenegro.
Additionally, within the same project, eight more research positions have been announced at partner universities.
