European Commission awarded the University Of Montenegro Logo Of Excellence Of Human Resources in Research
The European Commission awarded the University of Montenegro with logo of Excellence of Human Resources in Research (HR EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH, HRS4R), hence being identified and internationally recognized as promoter of stimulating and attractive working environment for researchers.
By adopting Human Resources Strategy in research with action plan, aimed at harmonizing human resources policy with principles determined by the Charter and Code for Researchers, the University of Montenegro in the previous year was running for Logo of Excellence.
Striving for attractive, open and sustainable European labor market for researchers, the European Commission in 2005 adopted recommendations, describing principles of employing and working conditions of researchers – (European Charter for Researchers and Code of Their Employment) povelju za istraživače i Kodeks o njihovom zapošljavanju. The European Charter defines rights and obligations and organizations where they work, while Code on Employment of Researchers relates to equality on employment procedures for all researchers in Europe and increases transparency in their employment and work. The Charter describes and responsibilities of researchers in terms of ethical norms, legal and contractual obligations. Charter and Code ensure researchers exercising the very rights and obligations in any country of Europe.
By creation of visually recognizable identity for HRS4R, the European Commission wants to recognize efforts, made by institutions that implemented Charter and Code. Represented visual identity, i.e. disposable logo, may help researchers in recognizing and affirming organizations that are primarily dedicated to science and research work and academic excellence.
This is another international success of the University of Montenegro directed to strengthening competitiveness and internationalization, i.e. implementation of the Development Strategy 2019-2024.
