Biography - Lakićević-Đuranović Bojana




Born on 23.09.1984 in Podgorica where she finished elementary school, High school and Law Faculty, UM, 2017. She finished master studies in 2008 at Law Faculty in Belgrade, defending with the distinctive master work under the title ''Legal position of the prevailing light in the light of international law''. In 2008  she enrolled in doctoral studies – department of international public law at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, where she passed her first oral doctoral exam (international public law, human rights and international humanitarian law) with ratings 10 and second oral doctoral exam (international human rights and the right of international organizations and the right to European integration) with ratings 10. She defended with the highest honor doctoral dissertation entitled "Relevant issues of international law in the light of the proceedings in front of the International Court of Justice in a dispute between the FR of Yugoslavia / Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina (April 2012).

At the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, she was employed in October 2008 as an associate with the magister on subjects from the International Chair.

By the decision of the Senate of the University of Montenegro, she was selected as an assistant professor in 2013.

As an associate professor elected on 25.12.2018 on subjects of the Fundamentals of EU Law, Euro-Atlantic Integration and International Humanitarian Law.

From 2009 to 2015 she was engaged in the teaching of the Maritime Law at the Maritime Faculty of the University of Montenegro

By the decision of the Senate of the University of Montenegro ,she has been engaged at the Faculty of Political Science of the UM since 2014 on the subject of EU Pre-Accession support.

In 2016/2017 she was appointed Vice-Dean for International and Inter-Institutional Cooperation at the Faculty of Law, University of Montenegro

By the decision of the Government of Montenegro she was appointed for the member of the Working Group for the Preparation of EU Accession Negotiations for the EU acquis in the field of negotiation chapter 13 (March 2013).

By the decision of the Government of Montenegro, on the proposal of the University of Montenegro, she was appointed, in July 2018, as a member of the Working Group for the Preparation of EU Accession Negotiations for the EU acquis in the area of negotiation chapter 2.

Member of European Society of International law and  American Society of International law.

During the doctoral studies at the Law Faculty of the University of Belgrade she received the Zamotes Award as the best Montenegrin student abroad.

She worked on professional training in London.

She speaks English and Italian.

Author of the scientific monograph "International legal aspects of the crime of genocide" published by the Law Faculty, UM, as well as a large number of works published in prestigious international and national journals.

She has participated in numerous scientific projects, as well as at numerous professional and scientific conferences in Montenegro and abroad.
