Others Write About Us: Bulgarian Professor Shares Insights from Visit to University of Montenegro

My experience at the University of Montenegro was comfortably familiar, closely mirroring the academic environment of my home institution. The faculty, notably Assoc. Prof. Vanja Vukićević-Garić, impressed me with taeir competence and enthusiasm. In administration, I was pleased to interact with Vice Dean Spomenka Delibašić, whose organization and friendliness were remarkable. The student body was diverse, with some students being highly responsive while others were more reserved.

In terms of teaching methodologies, I observed no radical differences compared to those at my home institution. This familiarity was reassuring and allowed for an easy adaptation to the academic setting.

I had the pleasure of meeting colleagues specializing in literature and US studies. Our discussions were enlightening, offering me valuable perspectives on curriculum organization. These insights are particularly beneficial as I explore new disciplines in my field.

Collaborating with peers who share my specialization was one of the highlights of my stay. These interactions hold great potential for future scientific events, consultations, and joint research initiatives.

My department is enthusiastic about welcoming members of your teaching staff for an Erasmus + teaching mobility program. We are eager for them to meet and interact with our students.

Furthermore, we cordially invite the University of Montenegro teaching staff to participate in scientific events hosted by South-West University “Neofit Rilski.” Their contributions and shared findings would undoubtedly enrich these events.
