Prerequisites A student should graduate from the Bachelor studies.
Aims The subject aims to continue mastering the language skills such as speaking, listening, reading and writing, with emphasis on the active use of language. The theoretical part of the course introduces students to modern language learning methodology that takes into consideration the interconnectedness and impact of a national language and culture. In this sense, the subject includes 2 hours of teaching theories and 6 hours of practical exercises (speech, translation from Russian into Russian with linguistic and stylistic analysis).

Prerequisites A student should graduate from the Bachelor studies.
Aims Introductory remarks regarding the basic ways and methods of translation. The main problems of translation and interpreting types can be identified at all language levels.
Learning outcomes After passing this exam a student will be able to: - Master all four Russian language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing to level C1) - Use the conceptual apparatus of modern linguistic theory of translation and knows its basic postulates - Possess skills of the textual analysis; - Demonstrate the level of translation of key habits and skills sufficient to achieve the main goals of bilingual communication; - Efficiently use all the available books, manuals, dictionaries in the field of translation as well as electronic resources and become independent in the translation practice.
