ProgramsELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Prerequisites None.
Aims As part of this course, students will have the opportunity to learn about the advantages of compressive sensing using a small number of randomly acquired measurements, as well as techniques and algorithms for signal reconstruction from randomly selected measurements. Students will get acquainted with techniques for the reconstruction and recovery of complete information based on a small set of available samples (measurements, data), such as the OMP technique, CoSaMP, convex optimization techniques, and application of thresholds in the transformation domain. The student will also learn about the application of these solutions to the acquisition and reconstruction of digital data: audio, video, images, radar signals, biomedical MRI images, ECG signals.
Learning outcomes Students will be able to: - Describe the mathematical concept and conditions for the application of the compressive sensing, - Apply the concepts of sparse signal coding, - Apply various algorithms for signal reconstruction from incomplete data sets, - Adapt algorithms for applications in different transformation domains, infect data types and different applications.
